my biggest fear ....

i'm the type who likes to know about stuff , even if its little knowledge , and after the small briefing i get ( usually from an expert in the field ) i chose if i want to get into it or not , at first i work alot on improving myself , then my life becomes this thing then i reach to a point where i can't get any further in it ! i don't drop the subject because i have too much pride to admit defeat so i just continue in this field and start with something else ! reach out to the point where i am "good " but not Great , at first it was okay i thought i was just finding my way and i'll find something in the end ! my current biggest fear is to never excel in anything ! and it has been giving me a few sleepless nights !

arabians don't use arabian numbers !

We all know that the numbers from 0-9 are called arabian numbers , and we don't use them ! i didn't give it much thought until a guy from germany visited our company and was surprised that we don't use them but instead we use other strange numbers ( the indian numbers ) , when i started thinking about it , indian people never invaded us or anything , and even though how come we stopped using arabian numbers and the whole world is using them now ?!!!
I'm talking history wise , how did it happen ?
